Years later, London wrote characters based on Jack and his wife Kate&#8211; an Athabascan Native&#8211; in his Yukon stories, The <em>Wife of a King<\/em>. Another honor of sorts came in the 1970s when American alcohol producer Heublein Spirits named whiskey \u201cYukon Jack\u201d and put a picture of McQuesten on the bottle.
